Let me start by saying that I love where we live!…On a farm in the middle of nowhere (I’m being dramatic…it’s somewhere, but it’s definitely in the “country”) with mountains and farms and rolling hills everywhere! I also LOVE when couples decide to make the trek into said nowhere to do their engagement sessions! And even though I love it, I still get a little nervous about where to actually shoot when people come out to the farm! We live on a 300 acre farm surrounded by tons of other farms so I obviously have endless possibilities, but I think I get a little overwhelmed with options–a good problem, I know!

When Lauren and Austin wanted to come to the farm for their engagement session, I decided to really do my homework and map out a plan. So, Buddy and I took a drive and picked several spots…including our neighbor’s driveway, a grassy field, and someone’s corn field. Lauren and Austin are such a sweet couple and they were down for whatever location we stopped at!
