As I mentioned earlier this week, Buddy surprised me with an hour-long plane ride on Sunday! He said that he had a surprise for me after church, but I thought we were meeting up with friends or picking apples…NOT flying in a plane! Little did I know, Buddy had this little adventure planned for weeks! Our good friend Art Salatin works at the Eagle’s Nest Airport in Waynesboro, VA. During a conversation a few weeks prior, Buddy had mentioned wanting to take a flight, so they picked a date and planned to surprise me with it!

I love flying, so this was the perfect way to spend a gorgeous Sunday afternoon! We had so much fun and I can’t wait to go again! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend taking a flight!
