Talk about starting the wedding season with a bang!!–Katie and Kevin’s wedding in Nassau, Bahamas was definitely one to remember! Buddy and I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since we photographed their engagement session…not only because it was a destination wedding, but also because Kevin and Katie are, truly, two of the sweetest people we know. They’re the kind of people that you feel like you’ve known forever!
I first met Katie in college when we lived on the same hall during our freshman year. From there, we graduated from business school together and even worked together after college! She had always said she wanted a destination wedding, so my reply was always, “you just get me there and I’ll be your photographer!”. Lo and behold, we did it! Katie found the man of her dreams and they along with almost 60 of their closest friends and family flew down to the gorgeous island of Nassau to tie the knot! I feel so honored to have spent the weekend capturing their big day and I couldn’t be more thankful for their friendship!
Katie and Kevin, I love you two so much and we are SOO happy for you! Hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon! (and in case you’re wondering where you honeymoon when you get married in the Bahamas….AUSTRALIA, OF course!!)

Since getting the opportunity to photograph in the Bahamas doesn’t happen very often, we definitely made the most of our time!
