Amy & Travis | Inn at Willow Grove Wedding

Weddings

7/04/2013

Buddy and  I have driven through Orange, VA a thousand times going from the farm to my parents’ house, but we’ve never actually stopped and explored the cute little town. This is probably why we were so shocked when we arrived at the Inn at Willow Grove….one of the prettiest bed & breakfasts I’ve ever been to! The property is absoultely beautiful with gardens, cottages, fountains, and even a mountain view! We are definitely going to think twice before we drive through Orange again! In fact, we are already planning a time to come back for a weekend trip this fall!

And now on to this amazing couple…I’ve known Amy since middle school and we even went to college together! After all these years of knowing Amy, I can honestly say she’s one of the sweetest girls I know! We’ve always known that Amy was a “catch” and any guy that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with must be pretty special!…Well, I couldn’t have imagined a better guy for her than Travis!! He’s so down to earth and he loves Amy so well!  Together, Amy and Travis are such a wonderful couple!

These two are not only beautiful on the outside, but they are truly amazing on the inside too! It was echoed many times during the day that Amy and Travis’ desire as a couple is to glorify the Lord  in their relationship first and foremost!  It’s so refreshing to see these two interact and I’m so excited to see how God uses them in marriage!

Amy and Travis, I hope you’re having an AMAZING time in St. Lucia (I’m SO jealous!), and I hope you’re loving your first few days as husband and wife! Buddy and I couldn’t be happier for you!

Here are some of my favorites from the day!

(and HAPPY 4th of JULY everyone!!)

And the “Best Assistant Ever” award goes to my husband for holding the dress while laying on his stomach to make sure it didn’t fall from the balcony! Well done Buddy…you can’t even see him! 🙂

Beautiful ladies! How sweet are Amy and her sisters?!There was not a dry eye in the house once Amy’s dad walked in to see her for the first time!

The Round Midnight Band was AMAZING!!…Probably the best band I’ve heard at a wedding!! And, Amy’s uncle is the drummer of the band!!Amy used to cheer for the Baltimore Ravens, so her and her fellow cheerleaders gave us all a little show! SO fun–I loved this!
